This is the beginning of my digital journey , a space where I document my experiences, growth, and learnings from the past, present, and future. Life, for me, has been a continuous path of learning through education, work, and personal exploration, shaping who I am today and who I am becoming.

My Journey So Far

I currently serve as a Sales Executive at Singer Sri Lanka PLC, working under the Automobile Division. Recently, I have been involved in executing the sales plan for the Piaggio brand from Octomber 2026, one of Sri Lanka’s growing automotive offerings in the light vehicle sector. In this role, I work across the Central, North Central, and Eastern regions of Sri Lanka, focusing on market development, customer engagement, dealer network expansion, brand awareness, and sales growth.

Before this, I worked as a Sales Supervisor at Lanka Wall Tiles PLC, handling their No.1 top-performing outlet in Narahenpita, Colombo. This role strengthened my leadership skills, team management, retail sales operations, and customer relationship handling in a highly competitive market environment.

Earlier in my career, I served as a Lab Executive at Ceyquartz MBI Pvt Ltd, a leading quartz supplier in South Asia. In this role, I gained valuable exposure to production processes, factory operations, and export procedures. During this period, I was also involved in the marketing and introduction of quartz slab products to the Colombo market.

These products are manufactured from quartz by-products derived from Crystalstone under Crystalsone Pvt Ltd (a subsidiary of Ceyquartz). This experience gave me strong insight into both manufacturing systems and international trade operations.

Beyond Work

Outside my professional life, I am a stamp collector, a hobby that reflects my interest in history, detail, and patience. It is a small but meaningful passion that helps me stay connected to learning in a different way.

I am also the founder of Mahathala Venture, an entrepreneurial journey where I explore product development, branding, and real-world business execution. Through this venture, I continue to learn what it truly means to build something from the ground up

AS a student

As a student, I developed a strong passion for marketing and technology, which continues to shape my career today. This interest led me to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing at the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), where I strengthened my understanding of marketing principles.

Alongside this, I studied in the Biological Science stream for my A/Ls, driven by curiosity to understand how things work and the science behind natural processes. This helped me build an analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.

Beyond academics

Beyond academics, I have always been an art lover, especially in painting. Creativity played an important role in my early life, and I have received several certificates recognizing my achievements in painting and artistic expression.

This combination of marketing passion, scientific curiosity, and artistic creativity continues to influence my personal and professional journey.

I am also passionate about robotics and microcontrollers, and I have conducted Arduino training sessions for school students to introduce them to practical electronics and innovation.

Beyond my professional interests, I am an enthusiastic philatelist with a personal collection of rare and ancient stamps, each representing a unique piece of history and timeless artistry.

Looking Ahead

I have tried many times to start vlogging and explore different ways of sharing my journey, but I feel that blogging is the right fit for me as it allows me to express my thoughts more clearly and meaningfully.
